Figs are in season here now, so I’m loving life. My neighbor has a giant fig tree that is just bursting with fruit, and I picked a few on the way home from walking the kiddos to school yesterday. Aren’t they glorious? I decided to make sweet fig sandwiches with cream cheese and honey for lunch today.
My mouth is watering just looking at those fig sandwiches. They’d be really great with a nice cup of English Breakfast tea.
The rest of today’s lunch is pretty simple: yogurt with homemade apricot jam, cucumbers and half a banana.
