Today’s colorful lunch has a nice assortment of fruit and veggies: a small carrot, grape tomatoes, some cucumber slices with salt and pepper, satsuma sections and a couple of pink lady apple slices. The sandwich is one of my favorites—sunflower seed butter with sliced apples and a sprinkling of cinnamon. That weird shiny stuff in the treat tray is a cut up fruit strip. This is a lovely looking little vegan lunch. I have to amend for the Superbowl pulled pork sandwiches we devoured last night. I don’t even like football, but I do have a weakness for North Carolina-style pulled pork and the intoxicating aroma that fills the house as it cooks all day.
